Head of UX/UI Design

Job description
We're looking to add a Head of UX/UI to our Exmo Team; a leader with vision who is ambitious, data-driven, highly motivated, customer-focused to drive engaging user experiences and push the limits of what customers expect, for brand new, global programs.
We need someone who can shape and drive our design strategy towards our very ambitious business future. We're growing fast and the volume of work we're producing is high, with even higher expectations for quality.
You will own our Exmo UX/UI design strategy while partnering with stakeholders to drive improvements to our digital products. This is a key leadership role in our quickly growing team, with a huge opportunity to shape the future of our digital products long termly.
Become part of our Exmo international team immediately in full-time at one of our locations in Krakow, Poland, Kyiv, Ukraine or remote as Head of UX / Design.
YOUR TASKS
- Develop and implement design strategy for our digital products
- Contribute to strategic decision making with the rest of the product teams
- Create testing plans to continuously monitor, analyze and improve performance
- Scale a team of multidisciplinary designers to match pace with a quickly growing business
- Coach all the members of your team and ensure they have a direction set in terms of goals and expected outcomes
- Mentor the team on design and research processes, best practices and guide them to produce high quality design outcomes
- Support and lead teams by applying your craft: strategic design methods, facilitation, mentorship, user research analysis, efficient design processes
- Nurture a healthy and happy team culture that supports professional growth and innovative work
Requirements
- You have experience building and leading a small to midsize UX team and managing career growth journeys in product-led organizations
- 5+ years of experience creating top performing content
- A stellar portfolio of work demonstrating mastery in creating effective user-centered design solutions with measurable results
- Proven experience designing for consumer focused financial services/fintech related industries is a great advantage.
- 2+ years of team leadership experience
- Proven experience in leading and developing a diverse team
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the effortless ability to multitask.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
- You are an advocate for the customer and understand how user research and design can impact business goals
- You have experience working within product development teams in agile environments
- You have a strong understanding of product management needs and product metrics
- You like using data to make decisions
