A software company making online games is looking for a PHP Developer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of and can hit the ground running.
We are an international team based in Cyprus, a sunny Island in the south of Europe. You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Job description
- Write clean, well-designed code
- Produce detailed specifications
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features, both front-end and back-end, to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Requirements
- Proven software development experience in PHP
- Understanding of MVC and object oriented PHP programming
- Good knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc...
- Good knowledge of Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator
- Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience in implementing third-party API’s
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, related subject or 2-3+ years of relevant work experience
