EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Manager role owns the PepsiCo & legal health & safety compliance, PepsiCo & legal environmental compliance but also efficient management of the wastewater treatment and organic waste management facilities in the plant.
EHS Manager also leads the health & safety agenda for total plant. This position has a direct impact on legal compliance and closely interacting with plant key positions as well as with regional health& safety managers.
- Ensure plant legal compliance with H&S and Environmental according Polish law;
- Ensure plant compliance with H&S and Environmental company policies;
- Maintain close cooperation with H&S Business Unit Lead in order to shift and lift all relevant standards;
- Manage team of 2 direct reports to deliver;
- Manage the Environment and Occupational Health & Safety department related capex projects;
- Lead and coach site leadership team for being EHS standards role models for their departments;
- Deliver plant H&S KPIs like LTI, LTI rate, severity rate and all required reporting systems;
- Coordinate plant Safety Action Team as key contribution for local programes sustainability;
- Best practice sharing for EHS activities inside Business Unit and Sector by building efficient networking with other EHS, H&S Managers;
- Ensure support for all plant capital projects in terms of risk evaluation, method statements validation for company employees and contractors;
- Define and execute EHS control procedures in order to meet all legal and company relative standards by all plant employees;
- Develop standard operating procedures, specification documents, protocols, training programs, trouble-shooting guides and other documents to establish, improve and sustain operational and maintenance processes
