The Engineering & Procurement division (E&P) is responsible for all engineering, procurement, IS/IT and information management activities in our projects. In addition the E&P division comprise project engineering and completion managers with extensive experience from technology development activities and execution of various Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) and Fabrication Contracts.
The Engineering Manager main objective is overall management of multidiscipline engineering activities, including supervision of discipline lead engineers as well as IS/IT and document control activities, in accordance with the Contract and other project needs.
- Manage all technical interfaces with client, authorities and third party contractors
This implies: - Establish project goals and key success factors
- Establish and implement project strategy
- Lead, manage, develop and motivate project organisation
- Being responsible for continuous progress monitoring and budget control of the engineering
- activities, including corrective actions when needed
- Provision of resources for all planned activities
- Ensuring that all risk elements, HSE and quality requirements are taken care of
- Ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with agreed plans and customer expectations
- Ensure that necessary agreements/contracts are established and followed up
- Actively contribute to learning, experience sharing and improvements related to project management processes and best practices
- University or college degree(BsC or MsC preferred)
- Five to eight years relevant experience
- Strong communication and excellent team skills
- Excellent English skills, written and oral
- Engineering management experience is considered an asset
