ITER (www.iter.org) is an international project involving the European Union, Japan, South Korea, China, Russia, and the United States aiming at showing that fusion could be used to generate electrical power, and gaining the necessary data to design and operate the first electricity-producing plant. The development is taking place under the auspices of the United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency.Cadarache (France) - the construction site of ITER fusion device - currently hosts the world's largest superconducting fusion experiment Tore-Supra at the CEA Cadarache Research Centre, one of the biggest civil nuclear research centers in Europe.

Opis stanowiska
- manage the development of layout drawings of the whole tokamak complex- specify detail pit/galleries design requirements- assess the status of the design and procurement of the critical systems in the tokamak complex- define, specify and monitor all interfaces between the ITER systems and building - review the procurement, erection and installation schedule- provide technical oversight of the detail design phase of the pit/galleries- working with the building design AE, clarify design questions, resolve conflicts, and assure the design is consistent with all requirements- document and control interface and requirement changes during the detail designWymagania
- degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field- work experience: 15-20 years experience in managing design and construction of developmental mechanical systems- previous experience in the construction and installation of large component similar to the tokamak core component (such as vacuum vessel and magnet), or project of similar complexity- good English- knowledge of the design, assembly and layout of the ITER tokamak components is highly desirable- very good organisational ability and excellent written and verbal communications skillsProsimy o dopisanie klauzuli: Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych dla potrzeb niezbędnych w procesie rekrutacji.
