We are inviting applications for the role of Employee Health and Safety Specialist with English
Responsibilities:
- Performing inspect processes and procedures and ensuring good health and safety practice
- Updating and creating new risk assessments
- Investigating accidents and complaints and determining if there has been a breach of health and safety law- coordinating occupational medicine (control and periodic examinations) and assessing exposure factors at workplaces
- Investigating precautions taken to prevent industrial diseases
- Keeping up to date with new legislation and health and safety standards
- Providing training and educational support to employers and new or trainee employee, coordination periodic training
- Providing specialist advice and information on health and safety to businesses and organizations and advising on changes required
- Writing reports on results of inspections and investigations and completing detailed paperwork
- Coordinating the organization and participate in quarterly health and safety committees
- Developing health and safety working programs and policies
- Preparing data and reports to external institutions such as Central Statistical Office and ZUS
- Acting as a mentor for HSE Inspector(s)
- Offering new HSE solutions for new circumstances
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in the field of Health and Safety
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Health and Safety, Environmental or administration preferred)
- Practical knowledge of Polish labor law, health and safety regulations
- Very good written and spoken English (B2)
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel; Power Point)
- Experience with HS software
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Nice to have - experience in the field of payroll and HR administration would be an asset
