Minebea Slovakia s.r.o., with its registered seat in Košice, is the latest production plant of the MinebeaMitsumi Group in Europe and is equipped with a research and development centre. The company focuses on the development and production of electronically commutated BLDC motors and innovative drive technologies.

The research and development centre MDCK (Minebea Development Centre Košice) collaborates very closely with the Technology Center Europe GmbH in Germany. It offers the best experts from the fields of information technology, electrical engineering, science and research the opportunity to work together. In addition to processing products manufactured directly in the factory in Košice, the centre also focuses on innovation projects in medicine and robotics, as well as SMART solutions for households and cities.

Job description:

• design and implementation of embedded software in C and C++
• development of internal and external SW interfaces according the given system architecture
• development and implementation of communication protocols e.g. for IoT applications)
• development of drivers and embedded applications based on RTOS and Linux environments)
• creating of software documentation according the company and customer requirements
• support of the software testing group
• cooperation with the electronics development and the systems management
• supporting software architectures
• versioning and maintenance

Requirements

• university education (Bachelor's degree) or university education (Master's degree)
• electrical engineering, computer engineering or comparable educational specialization
• English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)
• number of years of experience: 3
• knowledge of embedded software
• knowledge of Linux environments
• secure microcontroller-handling as well as knowledge of embedded programming in C and assembler
• advanced level of communication skills and ability to work in a team
• good written and spoken English skills

Salary: from 1 500 Euro brutto depending on experience
