EHS Leader
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of duties in the area of health and safety and fire protection in accordance with legal requirements,
- Implementation of health and safety policy, preparation and implementation of procedures and instructions in the field of health and safety, fire protection;
Conducting training and internal audits in the field of occupational health and safety, fire protection - Continuously raising awareness and building a health and safety culture among employees;
- Ongoing analyzes and assistance in risk assessment at workplaces
- Partner with Contractors to ensure job site daily pre-job safety check inspections are being performer,
- Reviewing and analyzing accidents and near miss incidents and make corrective action recommendations. Ensuring contractors follow the corrective action process.
- Defining EHS training requirements for each role/organization.
- Developing and delivering, all required training, such as: new hire safety training orientations (Hazcom, PPE, CPR ,etc.). Ensure all personnel have the necessary training for the project and steady state phases of work.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS roles,
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,
- Diploma or certificate in the field of Safety / Risk Management,
- Experience working with MPCB, MIDC Fire Department,
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills,
- Track record of leadership, strong influencing and conflict resolution skills.
