Our client is a Research and Development company with a strong research background in the fields of distributed systems, GRID computing and peer-to-peer networks. The results of the R&D activities are reflected in the advanced online collaboration software, and sophisticated medical imaging solutions.

Oferujemy

We are looking for an early-stage researcher (ESR) for research on cloud, grid and cluster storage systems. We offer full-time employment for duration of three years. The main goal of the research is to implement a cloud-wide platform for computations on large datasets, integrating results of other researchers within the EU project. The researcher will be encouraged to publish the results in scientific papers and may, if so desired, choose to pursue a Ph.D..

The candidates must be within the first four years of their career, starting with the date of obtaining their BSc or MSc degrees. The job location is in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but extended visits to partners on the project are planned, in particular to the UPC in Barcelona.
