Compensation and Benefits Consultant

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
- Act as a first level expert for all compensation and benefits matters for local markets, which includes recommendations / solutions, benchmarking, partnering with local teams
- Managing a cluster of countries
- Monitor market trends and competitiveness of the compensation and benefits positioning of Motorola Solutions and act proactively and accordingly
- Assist in designing, coordinating and reviewing compensation and benefits programs, tools and systems
- Survey participation and analysis – cash compensation, company cars and other benefits
- Manage annual processes – annual merit review, contracts renewals, cooperate with brokers etc.
- Coaching and training for HR and business managers
- Statistical analysis
- Opportunity to be involved in global project work and to contribute to harmonization of compensation and benefits practices
- Rationalize processes whenever possible to save cost, time or to increase service level
- Acts as contact to external service providers, exchange groups etc.
- Support or lead of ad hoc projects
Specific Knowledge/Skills
- Education level: University degree
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in an international environment, with an exposure to compensation and benefits programs and tools.
- Ability to quickly develop professional relationships and high level of credibility at all levels of the organization
- Sound knowledge of compensation and benefits theory and practice
- Analytical skills, excellent knowledge of Excel and a taste for numbers
- Good planning and project management skills
- Aptitude to perform multiple tasks in an efficient and effective manner while maintaining quality in detail
- Flexibility and cross-cultural competencies to deal with foreign cultures and different ways of thinking every day
- Ability to clearly explain complex issues in oral and written communications
- Fluent English is a must. Second language (German, Italian or Spanish) will be an additional advantage
