Job description:
Place of work: Warsaw
The role of Client Accountant is focused on performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the allocation and settlement of in-coming monies, as well as accounting of any client monies contained there in, as well as reporting activities.
- Takes ownership of the monitoring, recording, and processing of client account receipts
- Keep accurate and timely records of client monies held by the firm
- Prepare and check the appropriate paperwork for client account payments following the Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts Rules 2011
- Allocate receipts to invoices and handle Customer Clearing
- Prepare and check client interest calculations
- Take ownership of opening and maintaining designated deposits, Escrow accounts, and joint accounts
- Perform analysis of DebtorsPayment Terms, Payment History and Credit Rating
- Maintain Debtors Accounts
- Reporting on receivables andoverdue receipts
- Proceed with reconciliation of Debtors Ledgers
- Participate in the Month endclosing activities like Bad Debts Provision, Write Offs, Forex Variance adjustments etc.
- Be responsible for assigned KPI's to meet customer needs
- University Degree: Finance or Accounting
- 2-3 years of professional experience; preferably in a Shared Service/BPO in AR department
- Fluent in English
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel mandatory)
- Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, process documentation, SOPs-desirable
- Knowledge of SAP programme
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal customers
- Quality orientation, attention to detail and accuracy
- Teamwork, analytical and good communication skills
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
