Requirements:
- Graduate degree in business-related discipline
- At least 3 years relevant work experience, ideally in the pet industry. Experience working in an e-Commerce / mail-order environment an advantage
- Able to work very independently and to realise and implement quickly, open to iterative learning
- Intercultural competence as well as analytical and strategic thinking; able to structure complex facts
- Ability to understand customer needs and market requirements as well as an intuitive feeling for brands and trends
- Internet affinity, product and industry knowledge in the pet supplies, pet food and FMCG industry
- Assertive and self-confident, coupled with communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS-Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written English skills; German language skills an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Taking primary responsibility for the Polish product assortment, including sales targets
- Developing a local range strategy to align with the global product strategy
- Undertaking continuous product lifecycle management to optimise the ranges in your area of responsibility, including listing / delisting decisions and profitability analysis
- Sales planning and the corresponding management of product sell-through
- Implementing an attractive promotional presentation of products
- Planning, development and execution of marketing promotions and offers
- Conducting market, competition and range analyses as well as price comparisons
- Independent communication with suppliers including preparation and conclusion
- Working closely with central Purchasing and Sales departments
