Join our Engineering Development Team team as an Aircraft Stress Analyst.
Description
- Performing FEA in Ansys Workbench environment of aircraft components including:
o Static structural analyses
o Vibration, Shock and FBO
o Fatigue - Evaluate and propose design alternatives
- Selecting optimum solution
- Report critical technical issues up through functional management.
- Liaise with other functions and projects to ensure all stress requirements (including certification, strength, stiffness, durability, maintainability and reliability) are fully defined and integrated for any task undertaken
- Running performance calculations
- Collect and analyze data to determine areas for product improvement
Qualifications
- Engineering degree, preferred Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics
- Greater than 3-4 years professional engineering experience with Aircraft or Industrial components
- Working knowledge of calculations for Flow and Pressure Control Components
- Solid knowledge of Ansys Workbench
- Knowledge of Flight Control Electromechanical Actuation Systems will be an advantage
- Solid report, technical specification and product manual writing skills
- Good knowledge of English
- A strong work ethic, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment and communicate with Customers and Suppliers
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations
