This critical role is responsible for working within Jacobs Legal, Risk and Compliance Department and will report to the Legal Operations functional lead.
On this position we can hire both remote and hibrid workers.
- Managing legal related data in our IT systems (invoices, claims, official documents, etc.)
- Supporting lawyers in their cooperation with stakeholders from various Jacobs entities
- Updating statuses of all legal cases conducted by our lawyers in the IT systems
- Providing paralegal and analytic support to lawyers
- Using technology- and data-driven mindset, while engaging in improvement activities, implementing new tools etc.
- Actively communicating with internal and external clients globally
- Solid experience working within a large corporate legal department or outside law firm
- Experience with any legal e-billing platform would be a strong asset
- Fluency in both written and spoken English if not your first language
- Ability to report and track information accurately and concisely in web-based databases
- Computer literacy with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a paperless, digitized working environment
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet short deadlines
- Ability to work independently and confidently, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to provide input to improve accounting administrative processes to drive continuous improvement
- Willingness to work collaboratively with others and on various projects and initiatives within the Jacobs Legal, Risk and Compliance Department, as needed and assigned
