We are looking for
Job purpose is to work within a newly created remote infrastructure support team. or You will create a new work environment and team together with many ambitious and talented people from Silesian voiwodship while administrating and maintaining a number of servers for our Customers. You will be part of a fast growing RIM facility located in Katowice with focus on establishing global service delivery department. This is a chance to become a fundament for a new organization and a team, to develop your skills, be able to teach other engineers and to learn from them every day. Possibility to work remotely.
- To administrate and maintain MS Windows Servers including tasks such as:
- Active Directory administration
- Handling server performance and security issues as reactive and proactive work
- Handling infrastructure issues (like replication issues, DFS, DHCP and DNS configurations, server recovery)
- File server
- Installations / Patching / Upgrading of MS Windows Servers
- User Access Management (UAM)
- Incident, Service Request and Change Management activities – internal and external communication handled in English
- To develop an understanding of the Customer’s environment and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service
- To escalate issues as necessary to deliver required service level
- Very good knowledge of Windows server system administration, management and tools (Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016)
- Knowledge nice to have: Virtualization Technologies (preferably VMware or Hyper-V), hardware, clustering, SCCM/SCOM
- Self-motivated, team player with great communication skills and business understanding
- B2 level (or higher) of Spoken and Written English including technical vocabulary
- Powershell skills
- Basic Understanding of LAN/WAN/VLAN, TCP/IP, UDP
