As a Windows Engineer, you will be an important part of a team responsible for the ongoing engineering, operations, and support of the IT Server infrastructure.
You will contribute to the integration and engineering of the client application and Infrastructure systems, including working with remote geographic teams to incorporate specific local requirements.
You focus on introducing innovations to support new business initiatives and to increase efficiency within our environment. Your subject areas will include traditional infrastructure components such as servers, storage, file services, and cloud platforms.
In addition, you will be working closely with the development, operations, business, and partner teams to ensure successful results.
As a Windows Engineer, you will bring the following:
- Communication of complex topics to a diverse audience and positive customer service skills to exemplify strong leadership identity.
- Ability to lead, build positive business relationships, and influence collaboratively across IT and Business teams
- Mentoring, growing and developing the skills of other analysts and team members.
- Project management and organizational skills must be enough to be able to track and drive complex global technical initiatives to completion with the assistance of third party vendor.
- Candidate would benefit from application engineering and deployment/build experience
- 5+ years' experience in IT, business or a related field
- Advanced level of server and remote support knowledge. This experience should include the following: Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016), Hyper V (2008, 2012, 2016), Active Directory, System Center, PowerShell, OSD and MDT imaging
- Cloud and Data Center platform experience with Azure, AWS, Vmware, VMC, or Googl
- Experience with Service Now, Jira, and Confluence
- Intermediate to advanced understanding and experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and Topology
- Flexible, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a demonstrated desire for continuous personal growth
- Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
- Ability to lead, build positive business relationships and influence collaboratively
- Success operating in a fast-paced and complex support environment with multiple, competing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
