Web Developer

Job description
The Role
The web developer will be based in the Katowice office and will work remotely with colleagues in the UK. Responsible for completing change requests, uploading users, customising website and VLE templates, setting up single sign on, SSL certificates, some QA amongst other similar duties. These changes will be carried out using various software including Moodle, cloud based VLE, e-portfolios and CMS. From time to time, you may also be required to support other staff members in order for them to improve their knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Change requests to websites and other software
- Moodle template builds
- School Jotter 1 and 2 CMS template builds
- HTML and CSS builds
- Basic template changes
- Setting up MIS integration
- Liaising with external contractors in order to complete tasks
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Good CSS and HTML knowledge
- Degree or equivalent qualification in IT
- Excellent customer service skills
- High quality of work and attention to detail
- Willing to learn and desire to succeed
- Good communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- Experience of working within an education organisation
- Experience of working with Java

We offer
- Salary range: 2.500 - to 4.000 PLN gross depending on the level of experience;
- After the trial period attractive bonus system;
