Web Application Developer with Java and Linux

We’ve opened recruitment process for our UK Client ( Northern Ireland), a software company developing applications for electric industry over the world and using industry leading R&D, state-of-the-art test facilities, in-house manufacturing and quality control.

We are looking for Web Application Developer, experienced in Java, to become a part of our based in Belfast Software Engineering Team.

Following agile methodology you will be responsible for implementation and support of new and existing web applications by:

• Integrating existing software and developing new software solutions
• Creating technical specifications and test plans
• Ensuring product quality through UNIT testing, system testing and continuous integration
• Investigate new technologies and continually updating your technical knowledge and skills

If you :

• Have deep understanding of JavaScript and asynhronous design patternslogies
• Have strong experience with building client-side, or server-side applications in JavaScript
• Have practical knowledge of web technologies including HTML5 and CSS as well as good understanding of HTTP protocol
• Are familiar with web servers and deployment on Linux-based platforms
• Are experienced with at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Rubby)
• Have a tech stack including MySQL or SQLLite; JUnit; Spring MVC and Hibernate
