Responsibilities:
- Administration, support, maintenance, and monitoring of the Cisco UCCaaS Platform
- Providing superior customer service to internal and external customers
- Working with customers, both internal and external, to troubleshoot and resolve voice related incidents relating to Cisco, Sonus SBC, Webex and other UCC Technologies
- Working directly with carriers to troubleshoot carrier-side issues; order and support DS3, T1/PRI, and SIP circuits
- Coordinating and overseeing the installations and modifications to Voice hardware and related equipment including Servers, Gateways, and Circuits
- Following IT Change control best practices for predictable results, attending Change Advisory Board meetings and represent Vendor changes where applicable
- Remediation of issues quickly and effectively to reduce business impact.
- Identify recurring incidents and establish remediation plans
- Ability to establish alliances with other teams through recognition of dependencies
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience supporting enterprise telephony systems (SIP, SBC, Cisco)
- At least two years of experience working in a production, 24x7 environment
- Good understanding of the WebEx (WebEx Teams, WebEx Calling) or similar platform
- Excellent written and oral English language skills are essential
- Relevant experience turning-up, testing, and troubleshooting telephony systems and integrated applications
- Good working knowledge of VoIP technologies
- Experience with SIP trunking and Session Border Controllers
- Experience with data networking; VoIP & Quality of Service; H.323 & SIP endpoints; DHCP; CTI; capacity planning
- Familiarity with unified communications and mobility products and strategies
- Basic understanding of networking concepts
