We are searching for candidates for VMware Administrator role, who would like to improve technical skills in our team. We are offering the challenge to manage the huge infrastructure in the international team as we support one of the biggest European bank. In this role the Administrator will be responsible for ensuring system accessibility, functionality and stability, working around Incident/Problem/Change management processes.
Day to day activities:
- Operation and maintenance of systems across VMware infrastructure with high availability solutions
- Resolve problem incidents, execute infrastructure changes, requests, security and project management processes
- Diagnose issues with clients' hardware and diagnose/resolve VMware/server-related component issues
- Good network and storage knowledge
- Provide answers to clients' questions about IT problems and help meet their business needs through innovative IT solutions
- Experience in Support VMware vSphere Environments including HA, DRS
- Automation skills through scripting tools/commands
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuring VMWare VC and ESXi Servers.
- Experience in Analyze Customer Technical Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Operating System (2003 & 2008 and newer)
- Experience with VMware both Host and VM's, good to know VDI, VMware Cloud, Horizon, NSX
- Ability to write technical and operational management documentation
- English conversational skills
