Your role

- define, continuously improve and implement firm-wide Vendor Management Framework
- drive sourcing and vendor management Policy updates
- enhance and operate vendor segmentation and qualification processes
- define the business requirements for the IT tools to appropriately support and control vendor governance processes
Your team
You’ll be working in the Group Sourcing team based in Zabierzow. Group Sourcing (GS) is Corporate Center function created to support UBS with its third party vendor sourcing strategies as well as to manage the services provided by our near- and offshore delivery centers (UBS Business Solution Center, Outsourcing Delivery Centers., etc.). The Group Category, Vendor and Procurement Services function is embedded within GS and mainly responsible for providing three governance services: Category Management, Vendor and Contract Management and Procurement Services
Your experience and skills
You have:
- 2 - 4 years of relevant procurement, vendor and contract management experience
- process experience in procurement-related areas, preferably in the financial services industry
- strong presentation skills, including preparation of written presentations in MS PowerPoint
- strong analytical skills and confident in MS Excel
- experience and passion for process / continuous improvement and process optimization
- proven problem solving and change management skills
- ability to quickly learn and adapt to a changing environment
- experience with Ariba (or similar) tool would be an advantage
You are:
- a great communicator, you know how to engage with stakeholders
- an entrepreneurial person eager to build networks and connections
- willing to work in an international environment
- have a good eye for detail and taking ownership of own work results
- very good written and spoken English
