Your role

- contribute to design, optimization, and implementation of processes and tools for the Group
- support vendor management related improvement initiatives and projects, in particular defining and implementing new vendor management practices
- facilitate vendor risk and compliance management, including responding to in- and external audit queries on vendor management, evidence and data provision as well as subject matter expert advise
Your team
You'll be working in the Group Sourcing team based in Zabierzow. Group Sourcing (GS) is the Corporate Center function created to support UBS with its third party vendor sourcing strategies as well as to manage the services provided by our near- and offshore delivery centers (UBS Business Solution Center, Outsourcing Delivery Centers., etc.). The Group Category, Vendor and Procurement Services function is embedded within GS and mainly responsible for providing three governance services: Category Management, Vendor and Contract Management and Procurement Services
Your experience and skills
You have:
- 4 – 6 years of relevant procurement, vendor or contract management experience
- process experience in procurement-related areas, preferably in the financial services industry
- strong presentation skills, including preparation of written presentations in MS PowerPoint
- strong analytical skills and confident in MS Excel
- project management experience
- passion for continuous improvement and process optimization
- understanding of the outsourcing market
- problem solving and change management skills
- ability to quickly learn and adapt to a changing environment experience with SAP Ariba (or similar) tool – would be an asset
- experience in audit, business risk management, or due diligence processes – would be an asset

- a great communicator, you know how to engage with stakeholders, build networks and connections
- an entrepreneurial person eager to create and realize new commercial and operational improvements
- an independent, engaged person who communicates openly and raises concerns and issues proactively
- willing and comfortable to work in an international environment
- keeping a good eye for detail and taking ownership of own work results
- fluent in written and spoken English
