Częstochowa Engineering Center Engineers design automotive safety systems for our customers such as: seat belts, air bags, steering wheels and electronic systems. Responsibilities:
Analysis of project documentation (e.g. system requirements, system architecture, system design). Preparing test specification and test cases. Perform in-vehicle testing of Driver Assistance Systems based on radar and camera. Carrying out test drives on public roads in different conditions (weather, time of day, type of the road). Collecting test result and problem reporting. Preparing test reports. Working with tools supporting test activity (e.g. change request database, configuration management system, automated test environments). Regular communication with global project team. Coordination/planning of test activities within the project according to project milestones and available resources. Prepare reports/metrics for project management. Investigate and develop environments for test and validation
Requirements:
- Degree in software, electronics, computer science or electrical engineering;
- Communicative English skills; additional German language is an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Knowledge of software testing;
- Understanding of microcontrollers architecture;
- Matlab / simuling programming skills
- Knowledge of C/C++ programing language
- Knowledge of communication protocols in automotive (CAN, FlexRay)
- Good understanding of electronic circuits;
- Knowledge of measurement equipment (Oscilloscopes , Generators, Multimeters, etc..);
Optional Skills:
- Knowledge of embedded systems;
- Experience software testing and test automation
- Knowlegde of Vector tools
- Knowledge of script languages (eg. Python, PERL, bash);
- Knowledge of development products of automotive industry is an advantage.
