Your role
Does complex modelling excite you? Are you an expert in liquidity and funding risk, or are you interested in becoming one? We are looking for someone like that who can help us:
- prepare input data used for the daily calculation of the liquidity and funding models
- run the engines to generate final outcome of the calculation
- produce various reports at Group and regional level
- analyze the results in various dimensions and provides insightful comments
- act as primary contact for all questions raised by various trading desks and answer accurately in a timely manner
- test of the calculation engines when new functionalities are implemented by the Group Technology
- maintain records of the processes
Your team
You'll be a part of the Group Treasury Modelling team, based in Krakow. This is a unique opportunity to strengthen the team within "Treasury Strategy, Modelling & Business Development" and play a central role to the calculation of key indicators to measure the liquidity and funding (L&F) situation of UBS Group and its regions.
The Treasury Modelling team is responsible of prototyping, developing, and maintaining external and internal L&F models, such as the new Basel III Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) or the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). The team is also responsible for development and continuous improvement of the internal L&F models such as Cash Capital or the Structural Liquidity Gap.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- university degree with financial or economics background
- experience in data analysis, financial reporting or reconciliation of financial data
- proactive and independent working style
- strong analytical skills
- broad banking knowledge
You are:
- very good at English (written and spoken)
- very good at Excel
- well organized, with a sharp eye for detail
- team player with positive attitude
