Your stories for Reuters will also be seen by our media clients, on Reuters.com and other extensions available to read for everyone. Reuters news and information reaches one billion people every day.
In your role you will be responsible for:
Editing, crafting and honing English-to-Russian translations that span geographies, industries and markets
Identifying market-moving figures and comments most relevant for Russian speaking audience and publishing real-time news alerts in Russian
Coaching and mentoring a team of translators
Curating media packages from Reuters’ rich file of video, pictures, graphics and text stories
Qualifications - What do you need to bring?
At least two years of experience as a professional news translator/editor
Solid knowledge of worldwide macroeconomics, financial markets and corporate activities
An ability to judge what news is relevant for Russian clients
A willingness to learn and an ambition to build skills and take on greater challenges
Fluent written and spoken Russian, a good command of English
Resilience in high-pressure situations
Willingness to work as part of a team

Требования к кандидату:
Как минимум два года работы профессиональным переводчиком новостей/редактором
Знание мировой макроэкономики, финансовых рынков, корпоративной повестки
Чутье на новости
Идеальный русский язык и хорошее знание английского
Готовность учиться, развиваться и брать на себя ответственность
