As an all-round Backup specialist you are able to independently manage the innovative concept of Software Defined Datacenter and guide migrations of business applications and data. Think of technologies such as software defined computer, networking and storage and service oriented operational models such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud.
- You ensure that the backup application and services continue to function properly.
- You offer support during incidents to end-users / customers and/or other IT departments.
- You ensure that the documentation, instructions, procedures and knowledge are kept up-to-date.
- You are the point of contact for IT management and maintenance.
- You receive courses for new technologies and then apply them as required.
Skills mandatory needed
- Experience in Backup solutions (Data protection), specifically CommVault.
- Good understanding of operating systems like Windows, Linux
- Basic knowledge of network concepts
- Experience and certified with ITIL.
- Experience with Powershell scripting.
- Good English communication skills.
Skills good to have - Experience in storage area Netapp & IBM.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service models with public cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with software defined storage Solutions.
