The PM is responsible for the successful execution of Programs using the M-Gates framework, from initiation (M15) to Ship Acceptance (M2). Programs need to be delivered on time, meeting the defined scope, cost and quality goals.
The PM is required to work with a multi-discipline, multi-site development team with responsibility for the overall planning, tracking and reporting at a Program level. A typical Infrastructure Program will require close working and co-ordination across Software, Hardware, Quality, Product Management and Supply Chain teams.
- Significant and demonstrable experience Program Managing in a development Engineering environment
- Background in Engineering management preferred
- Experience in all phases of Program Development (Inception to Ship Accept) preferred
- Track record of delivering Programs and meeting commitments
- Ability to identify the key Program issues and facilitate their resolution
- Drive and Energy to meet Program commitments
- Good collaborative skills to ensure the cross functional program team are working as one
- Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to the Senior management team
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Good influencing skills required as working with a Global Team on multiple sites
- Knowledge of the M-Gate, or similar Gate process, preferred
