Testing Analyst
The successful candidate will be responsible for following documented test plans and conducting detailed end to end testing. This includes use of both counsellor desktop tools and online booking tools and creation of PNRs. The focus of this testing will be to ensure PNRs created by new or existing products, processes flow seamlessly end-to-end through all of our systems and touchpoints, including AQUA, back offices, Glory and Analytics
Main responsibilities & duties
- Ensures testing is completed within due dates agreed upon and detailed documentation of test results
- Partners with lead to follow an enterprise-wide Testing process to support Traveler Services, Product & Technology departments.
- Manages to test plans, and advise lead of any occurrences that could alter final deadlines and/or anticipated outcomes for testing
- Utilize time management skills to proactively balance the workload of multiple, concurrent initiatives, so that all deliverables are met on time.
- Follows a detailed test plan to support various products and technology.
- Provides feedback to Lead Coordinator and Manager to help identify what is needed to conduct testing
- Support TSAP test metrics that will include at a minimum, number of planned test use cases, number of executed test use case, number of passed/failed test use cases, and number of defects reported by severity level with a total of defects, number of defects fixed, and report any testing risks and issue
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Language, both spoken and written
- Strong customer relation and presentation skills – ability to articulate technical information in a business related manner
- MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge with product setup systems/processes (i.e. Portrait, Program Management Center, CWT AnalytIQs, back Office Systems, Glory, etc.)
- Proficient in Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo
- Strong problem solving skills
- Analytical mindset
- Understands technologies in a broad sense of transaction workflow/lifecycle from all system touch points
- Proven ability to understand technology and the impact to the business, products, and end-users
- Knowledge of CWT products, services and cross-functional teams across all regions
- Strong verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills
