The Center consists of teams responsible for driving major IT and User Experience enhancements for whole European organization, with other teams like Supply Chain, Financial Analysis & Master Data Management also establishing their operations in Gdansk.
Job Purpose
As an Enterprise Tender and Price Analyst you will be part of the BU Commercial Team reporting to the Tender Manager and responsible for developing and winning accounts by creating accurate and timely bids, responding to customer questions and creating successful pricing. You are the counterpart of the Enterprise Sales Teams, ensuring delivery of the best Staples can offer to the Enterprise Customers whilst maintaining profitability and ensuring compliance to the EU Common Operating Model. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating Enterprise bids with pricing that supports the acquisition of profitable new Enterprise business in line with targets.
- Liaising with the Tender Writer delivering timely and high quality impactful bids that increase win rates and deliver BU margin requirements.
- Providing a centre of excellence for the creation of Public tenders.
- Compliance with all Common Operating Model processes
- Managing a timely tender portfolio of ENT tenders via SFDC tender milestones
- Prepare margin repair plans within the bid P and L
Critical results
- Initial input into business case for 3 year profit plan.
- New Enterprise business acquisition activity

Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate all activities to ensure all milestones within all Enterprise bid timelines are delivered on time and quality
- Evaluate and feed back on bid quality and product category mix
- Use codification tables to efficiently convert customer invoices into price files
- Identify future predicted product switches
- Maintain an efficient & effective bid turnaround process within SFDC in line with SLAs
- Ensure accuracy and margin targets are met on all bid requests
- Liaise with LOB specialists to provide quality bid data for existing customers requiring new LOBs
Knowledge, skills & experience
Education and Experience:
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Advanced Excel / Access knowledge desirable
- Margin / pricing experience desirable
- Experience within industry / product knowledge desirable
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time-management skills
