Position Description:
On this position you will be responsible for supporting customers with a proprietary software platform (NetAct family) by:
- maintenance and installations of NetAct platform
- diagnosis and monitoring of system availability
- error reporting and correction tests as well as analyses of complex problems
- supporting quality and correctness
We are looking for you if you have…
- Good Knowledge of system administration in Red Hat/ Linux or other UNIX systems
- Knowledge of system administration in Windows Servers
- Knowledge of Telecommunication Technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, practical understanding of TCP/IP and transport network);
- Very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written)
Nice if you have…
- Basic programming skills with script languages (e.g. Perl, Unix shell)
- MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
- Management Protocols (SNMP, Q3, Corba)
- Experienced in Customer Service Support
- Basic knowledge of Databases (Oracle/SQL)
- Knowledge about mobile core network elements as MGW, MSC, HLR, SGSN
- Ability to write and speak fluently in other languages
