Technical Leader and Java Web Developer

Requirements:
- Experience in managing a team
- Minimum 3-year experience in Java Web Development JEE (JSPs, tag libraries, Servlets, Filters)
- Knowledge of Java web containers (e.g. Tomcat, Jetty)
- Object Orientated Programming skills
- Experience of writing automated tests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working in a Scrum Agile environment
- TDD (JUnit and mock frameworks, e.g.: Mockito) and Refactoring
- Working Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Maven
- GIT and SVN
- Unix shell – basics only
- RESTful Web Services
- Working knowledge of a dynamic language
- Use of IntelliJ or Eclipse
- Desirable knowledge of: Spring, OSGi, Python, Apache Web Server
Responsibilities:
- Hands on development building additional functionality for IG’s global websites in accordance with the Marketing Technology Architecture
- Line managing a team of 2 developers (up to 25% of time) and development (minimum 75% of time)
- Close contact with London team of QAs and other Developers (including front-end Developers in London and Cracow)
