The description of duties is a presented below:
- Preparing/Reviewing technical documentation related to Acquisition of technical equipment and services in the context of meeting expected LOGISTICS unit or end user needs, system configuration constraints, alignment with Frontex policies, data protection and security obligations.
- Contributing to coordinate the technical activities in EQUIPMENT, interfacing the external suppliers/service providers when delivering the technical equipment/services;
- Under the supervision of EQUIPMENT Project/Contract Manager, act as expert to monitor and control technical related tasks as derived by the portfolio initiatives and/or procurement activities;
- Supporting LOGISTICS unit while maintaining the list and configuration (inclusive of lifecycle management) of subsystems, equipment, devices, etc. installed in the technical assets owned by Frontex;
- Process documentation/ Product design/ manufacturing/ acceptance: Supporting EQUIPMENT unit in the preparation of documentation planned during the systems development lifecycle and establishing technical procedures while contributing to products acceptance tests
- Education: successfully completed secondary education related to the business needs;
- Work experience:
at least 2 years of professional experience after secondary school:
in the field of computer networks and systems, software and communication maintenance, or
in the field related to inventory control or warehouse environment maintenance or management.
Experience in assisting users with queries or problems related to PCs, peripherals, networks and office automation tools (MS-Office);
Experience in diagnosing and resolving incidents and service requests;
Good knowledge on Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Technologies – to be verified at the interview;
- Computer skills:
very good knowledge on Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Technologies support;
very good knowledge of hardware environment (PC, printers);
very good skills in the main MS Office software (mostly MS Excel);
- Language skills: very good command of both written and spoken English (at least B2) / knowledge of additional EU language.

- ability to work under pressure and experience in organizing work and prioritizing accordingly;
- ability to communicate efficiently at all levels internally and externally and in appropriate manner;

- ability to learn new skills and software;
- ability to work in a team.
