Job description
What would you do?
-
Design, implement, optimize, integrate and test new features or application components
-
Actively contribute to architecture, design, code reviews and unit/automated testing
-
Support building frameworks and tools to streamline development activities
-
Troubleshooting and maintenance of released products
-
Independently lead, coach and mentor other team members
-
Maintain strong ownership and leadership on product quality and development practices
-
Work collaboratively with the development team, and other departments, to build compelling products
Requirements
What do we expect you to know/have?
-
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
-
8+ years of experience designing and developing commercial software
-
2+ years of technical leadership experience
-
Thorough knowledge of C# and ASP.NET development and debugging
-
Expert level knowledge of the Microsoft BI Suite – SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server, T-SQL
-
Deep understanding of relational database design, development and data warehousing experience
-
Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and server environments, including Windows Server and IIS
-
Proficiency in unit and automated testing of complex applications
Preferences:
-
Agile development (Scrum, Kanban) experience
-
Experience with Windows Workflow and XAML
-
Knowledge of PowerShell
-
Experience with SSAS and Microsoft MVC
