Supply Chain Manager

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualified, purchasing qualifications
• Previous experience on a similar position
• Very good english skills
• Analytical thinking/ problem solving skills
• Quality/ Commercial awareness
• Change management
• Communication/ Negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

During transition:

• Develop a sourcing priorities plan and agree which categories should be re-sourced prior to move
• Develop a sourcing strategy for the categories to be resourced
• Develop the supplier approval process for the new plant 
• Understand the new Sales & Operations Planning process for implementation in Poland
• Re-negotiate contracts for delivery to the new Poland plant for existing suppliers

After transition:

• Manage/ coordinate the Sales and Operations Planning Process including procurement, supply/ demand forecasting, inventory management and on-time delivery
• Develop and/ or participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organisation
• Identify and manage risk within the supply chain, whilst addressing tactical and strategic supply chain issues
• Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning and other optimizations in order to grow the business
• Manage vendor relationships in conjunction with the Procurement Manager
• Establish KPIs, monitor ongoing performance and improve performance against set goals to drive continuous improvement
• Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of the team
