Purpose of the role:
Following the direction of the SPM Lead, support Supply Managers in the opco’s to deliver Supplier Performance Management (SPM) across the IAG external supplier spend portfolio
Collaborate with stakeholders in the businesses to adopt and embed SPM practices and culture, delivering the framework and support services that enable effective execution and achievement of results that add value.
Ensure SPM activities are aligned with group Procurement objectives in close collaboration with the SPM Lead Category Leads
Accountabilities:
• Assist in the definition of group policy on SPM (including standing instructions, guidelines and templates)
• Support the business to effectively execute SPM and embed SPM culture
• Be the subject matter expert for SPM best practice and the go-to person for SPM related matters
• Identify non-compliance with SPM policies and escalate as needed to ensure corrective action is taken
• Take responsibility for addressing procurement audit actions relating to SPM
• Manage communications with suppliers regarding IAG (e.g. cascading IAG objectives to suppliers) under direction from the SPM lead
• Deliver the procurement Supplier Risk programme which encompasses supplier risk post contract award
• Maintain the IAG level segmented supplier list including the Supplier risk list.
• Constantly challenge SPM practices and process, identifying and recommending improved ways of working
• Deliver training to ASMs and procurement colleagues, ensuring that training is timely and effective to drive high performance
• Facilitate the delivery of the ‘Responsible Procurement’ programme by providing timely information and providing support to the team who will undertake supplier corporate responsibility and audits post-contract award.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications:
• A degree or equivalent level of education
Skills:
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to evaluate, analyse and solve problems
• Ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, breaking down barriers that get in way of effective team working.
• Ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resource and uncertainty.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region with the ability to engage with and influence stakeholders
• Ability to manage complex relationship with external organisations
• Commitment to service excellence and process improvement
• Working knowledge of the languages of the countries of our operating companies is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Spanish is particularly important
Experience:
• Experience working in with suppliers in a complex, global organization
• Experience managing stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience working with Six Sigma or similar project management
• Experience of working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology.
