Our Supplier Maintenance Specialist career path provides you the opportunity to work with Procurement, Supplier Qualifications and Accounting professionals in a dynamic environment. You will provide support to a high volume, fast paced Global Procurement team with tasks such as supplier set-up, supplier database clean up, and support audits by ensuring compliance to departmental policies and procedures. You should possess superior customer services skills, at least two years of relative experience and have excellent skills using technology and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and Access). Previous experience is Oracle is strongly preferred. Work is frequently robust and proprietary and requires strong attention to detail. You should also have a desire to grow personally, as well as professionals with each project.
- Set up and maintain supplier records in Oracle Financials.
- Assist in the overall reduction of Jacobs supplier database.
- Maintain storage of supplier documentation.
- Collect the appropriate country or local tax certificates or waiver certificates.
- Communicate with internal and external customers on supplier issues.
- Are responsible for working with suppliers on the weekly supplier hold report
- Are responsible for supplier verification for invoice processing.
- Communicate changes and updates of the Supplier Management Policies and Procedures.
- Support audits (process walk through, collect documentation, research).
- Provide backup for Supplier Maintenancet in other regions as needed.
- Provide support for Supplier Qualifications when needed.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Proficient in English preferred.
- Background in data-entry.
- Experience working with Oracle Financials or Oracle Purchasing with skills working in setting up suppliers in Oracle.
- Good Verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
