The company also holds top 3 market positions in most of its end markets: General Illumination, Automotive OEM and Aftermarket, Specialty and Display LED products for the Smartphone and Display segments.
Your role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Procurement Professional. This is a unique opportunity for being part of the newly founded company based on the merge of two most winning businesses of Philips Lighting: Automotive Lighting & LumiLeds.
The Strategic Buyer Packaging will coordinate all assigned commodity portfolio activities across defined business Category and Global Business Units within a sector. This professional, as a part of Commodity Cluster Team, will develop long term commodity strategies ensuring best purchasing value and competitive advantage through the purchasing of capital, direct and indirect materials and services for all assigned portfolio activities. The Strategic Buyer Packaging also acts as Supplier Account Manager (SAM) for his/her assigned suppliers.
The position is based in Pabianice.
Your responsibilities will include:

Defines procurement strategies based on business requirements for the relevant assigned commodity portfolio.

Drives and accumulates all supply base related marketing intelligence and benchmarking.

Manages supplier potential evaluation (technologies and capabilities, strategic segmentation).

Manages supplier risk assessments including liability Management and charge-backs.

Drives strategic cost management (lean / continuous improvement programs / Should-cost models).

Allocates Product Portfolio to Supplier Manufacturing.

Defines critical components.

Ensures world-class supply base (supplier selection and allocation, standardization, negotiation and contracting, supplier performance rating and measurement).

Ensures benchmark supplier relationships (supplier account development, supplier business review).

Proactively ensures long term capacity and the availability of scarce components.
We are looking for a person who fits the following requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in Procurement, ideally as a procurement professional for a global (multi business) technology company.

Proven track record in Sourcing & Procurement services gained within the international environment.

A dynamic individual who is comfortable working with diverse teams and should be culturally attuned to succeeding in a complex environment.

A highly collaborative individual with ability to work effectively outside the sphere of direct influence and be able to communicate clearly with a wide range of relevant stakeholders.

Fluent English and Polish with ability to communicate effectively on all levels of the organization.

Excellent analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and break down complex problems, identify causes and develop solutions.

Very good command of Excel and experience in SAP
