In our facility in Niepołomice we are desigining, manufacturing and testing engine controllers and cabinets.
Join our RPS team as a Staff Electrical Engineer.
- Electrical design and product engineering of Control Cabinets used in wind turbines
- Plans, schedules and coordinates detailed phases of a major project or in a total project system of moderate scope.
- Creating electrical scheme using engineering tool (e.g. E-Plan, Pro-Plan), selection of suitable components, protections, cables etc.
- Performing review of design compliance with UL508A and safety requirements
- Creating BOMs and product documentation in the PDM system (e.g. Windchill, WISE)
- Performing analysis to evaluate potential solutions that would reduce risk, cost and complexity of design and test problems (e.g. DFMEA analysis using VDA standard)
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of design problems and determining solutions
- Focus on cost efficient design while considering technological trends
- Creating test plans, technical coordination internally as well as with suppliers and customers
- Working on assigned tasks autonomously and able to work independently
- Take an active role in an international engineering team
- May be the Technical Lead of international and multi-site projects.
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- More than 8 years of proven experience in industry
- Knowledge of UL508A or CSA C22.2 No.14 standards
- Be familiar with electrical components used in electrical switchboards, work experiences in related area is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well in English, orally and through written documentation
- Readiness to work overtime, international travel and perform other duties when required even in test-bays and at wind-turbines
- Ability to effectively operate in the international project team environment and communication with customers
- Knowledge of relevant design-standards / norms in electrical design
- European driving license class B
