Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurement manages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips.
PSSC acts on behalf of the Philips businesses, handling every step in the purchasing process – from demand analysis to final delivery. PSSC delivers value added services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior purchasing experiences by listening and acting on our customers' feedback.
Your challenge:
- Acting as member of Sourcing Tools team and supporting the Purchasing clusters leaders with respective KPI and Data; keeping relations with stakeholders, providing insights related to procurement compliance improvements based on provided analysis of Payment Terms, SRM usage, contract coverage and other indicators
- Acting as a liaison between global procurement team and local businesses (managing internal and external communication)
- Following the Implementation of commodity strategies towards existing sites and businesses, initiating & implementing improvement plans/projects as per agreed actions with respective commodity
- Participating in the development & deployment of the overall Philips Purchasing policy and 'one page' strategy throughout the respective clusters
- Achieve maximum performance by actively using the sourcing network, respectively by bringing local requirements into the Clusters and/or Commodity/Market Teams
Your key responsibilities:
- Managing relationship with the customers and stakeholders proactively, leading communication related to service in scope also outside the team
- Initiating improvements based on procurement KPIs in scope
- Spend compliance, savings and procurement KPIs reporting
- Monitoring performance, quality of the process and initiate improvements related to the area of responsibility
- Participating actively in projects within and outside PSSC scope
- Providing insightful reports, analysis and recommendations within given procurement scope
- Participating actively and supporting definition and deployment of the Commodity Strategy
- Participating in and leading purchasing projects linked to procurement processes improvements and optimizations.
We are looking for people with:
- Graduate with Bachelor or master degree
- Fluent English is a must (both orally and in writing)
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Sourcing or Procurement area
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality indicators setup, monitoring and data accuracy
- Developed analytical thinking skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to inspire commitment, arrange, communicate and influence virtually
- Procurement experience and expertise (incl. Cluster and market knowledge) will be an advantage
- Negotiation and influencing skills; convincing power

- Self-driven and pro-active, able to work independently in virtual environment

- Computer literacy essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
