Position level: (Junior/Senior) Specialist, 1-3 years of XP
Department: Application Management
Job purpose:
To provide flexible testing skills as part of a team taking responsibility for providing a testing service, whether as part of a testing project, within a managed testing service.
Accountabilities:
- To deliver work to agreed estimates and timescales.
- To apply Steria testing processes.
- To produce Test Plans for simple testing requirements, seeking clarification about requirements, where required and contribute to overall Test Plans for more complex requirements.
- To develop detailed Test Cases and Test Scripts, including expected results, for simple or moderate requirements, in line with the Test Strategy.
- To create test data for simple testing requirements.
- To execute testing with support if required on more complex scenarios.
- To document and verify test results.
- To raise and record details of incidents encountered during testing.
Required Qualitie:
- Experience with JEE, Oracle (Bea), SOA (Portal, Servicebus, App. Server) and Oracle database.
- Good knowledge and experience with Weblogic and Aqualogic
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Technical Degree - in engineering, preferably in the specialization of software, telecommunications or electronics will be appreciated
- Very good knowledge of English, Danish would be a great plus
- Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility to the customer
