Software Test Engineer
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
- Degree (B.Sc. is a minimum) in a Computer Science / Information Technology related discipline.
- Experience in manual software testing.
- Good understanding of core software development processes and principles.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as functional and technical specifications in English.
- Understanding testing standards, methods and processes.
- Good spoken and written both Polish and English.
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
- Good organization of work, attention to details.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Digital Television aspects (DVB, PSI/SI, OTT, IPTV).
- Experience in Android embedded devices testing.
- ISTQB Foundation certificate.
- Knowledge of Java or Python.
Here’s what you get to do:
- Develop test cases for embedded software in the field of Digital TV.
- Conduct integration, functional, system and regression tests.
- Prepare test documentation (Test Cases, Test Reports, etc).
- Execute test scenarios and report defects.
- Communicate with software engineers regarding design approaches and modifications.
- Conduct onsite testing in customer premises (abroad traveling).
- Investigate and develop test environment.
