Responsibilities:
Creation of design documentation for software modules. Developing/analysis of software architecture. Following TRW's defined software and product development process. Working with tools supporting embedded software development (e.g. change request database, configuration management system, laboratory equipment). Developing of software for microcontrollers (16/32-bits, single and dual core) for assigned software functions. Communication with engineering centers in other countries (US, Germany, UK, Korea, Japan, China). Analysis of technical specifications (e.g. customer requirements, systems requirements, datasheets).
Requirements:
- knowledge of C, C++, C#, .NET;
- degree in software, electronics, computer science or electrical engineering;
- basic understanding of electronic circuits;
- English language knowledge;
- good problem solving skills, creativity;
- ability to travel (business trips);
Optional skills:
- knowledge of Matlab/Simulink; SVN, GIT, DOORS, MKS
- knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML);
- theory of image processing;
- understanding of microcontrollers architecture;
- understanding of SW test methodologies and tools;
- knowledge of SW development processes (e.g. SPICE);
- knowledge of CAN protocol
