Software Engineer
Miejsce pracy: Kraków
Zadania:
- Analysis of user requirements and creation of formal specifications
- Development of new and adaptation of existing applications
- Planning and execution of technical unit and regression tests (white box testing)
- Provide support ? break/fix and enhancements of existing systems
- Translate technical specs into code and document the code
- Client integration development
- Propose and design technical solutions and execute the release of new applications, monthly enhancements and/or upgrades
- Work with a variety of teams for integration into other systems
Wymagania:
- Bachelor degree Information Technology or related area
- Experience in Sun Solaris, Java/J2EE, web development, Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL Server) and WebSphere
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Strong expertise in technology and systems integration
- Extensive database and operating systems experience; hands-on trouble shooting experience
- Proven ability to adapt to constantly evolving priorities; ability to multi-task in a time sensitive environment
- Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to test own work. Capable of completing development work with minimal supervision
- Adept at conducting research into software related issues and products
- Excellent technical writing / documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and VBA
- Very good written and spoken English
Oferujemy:
- Knowledge of Good Practice for Software Development such as Continuous Integration as well as standard frameworks like Struts, log4j, CVS, JMS
- Experience in the financial industry, preferably within Investment Funds (Transfer agency, Fund administration)
- Technical competency in any of the following: C#/.NET, SOA, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Perl/Shell scripting, UNIX, XML, AJAX, Eclipse IDE, Ant, Subversion
