Position level: (Junior/Senior) Specialist, 1-5 years of XP
Department: Application Management
Job purpose:
To provide software development skills at a subsystem level and work as part of a team taking responsibility to specify, develop and test the sub-system to agreed standards and quality practices.
Accountabilities:
- To deliver work to agreed estimates and timescales.
- To produce software component designs and specifications.
- To produce software components and test the components.
- To create test data and testing environments for unit and link testing.
- To undertake integration testing including assisting in the production of test plans.
- To produce system documentation.
- To produce estimates for own work and to ensure estimates for the creation and development of IT solutions are achievable.
- To maintain and develop knowledge skill and competencies in software development.
- To undertake appropriate software configuration management activities for development deliverables in line with the software configuration management process.
- To report progress and issues to the team leader in a timely manner. particular, to relay issues that might impact on quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates.
Required Qualitie:
- Experience with JEE, Oracle (Bea), SOA (Portal, Servicebus, App. Server) and Oracle database.
- Good knowledge and experience with Weblogic and Aqualogic
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Technical Degree - in engineering, preferably in the specialization of software, telecommunications or electronics will be appreciated
- Very good knowledge of English, Danish would be a great plus
- Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility to the customer
