Software Developer (C#, Python)

Responsibilities:
- Develop desktop and web app/software/scripts that would enhance project delivery, data usage and communication between existing and new software (i.e. data capture and imports, process automation, calculation tools, plug-in’s, etc.)
- Work in a team of software developers and support less experienced members of the team, monitor workload
- Work with platforms and tools like Viktor, Autodesk, Bentley to build apps, plug-ins and add-ons
- Coordinate with global Digital Delivery and Automation stakeholders on tools functionality and user interface
- Collaborate with other Developers, Product Owners, Delivery Leads and Scrum Masters to determine best practices, possible improvements to project delivery processes and automation of tools
- Provide expertise and help estimate levels of efforts
- Take part in global initiatives to design, develop and execute software solutions to address business needs (workflows, libraries, database)
- Work in a team of software developers and support less experienced members of the team, monitor workload
- Develop and maintain documentation for tools and software
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Preferred skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience, using some or a combination of back-end programming languages, mainly C# and Python
- Knowledge of software development frameworks and deign patterns
- Knowledge on how to integrate third-party libraries, API’s and services into applications
- Ability to manage data held in a relational database, SQL
- Experience in testing and analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
- Experience with source control (e.g. Git)
- A commitment to writing quality code, following best practices, and adhering to coding standards
- Strong collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Also welcomed:
- Some experience in GUI
- Understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with BIM environment
