We are looking for motivated software professionals for Software Configuration Engineer positions. You will have an opportunity to constantly develop your skills in IT and Telecommunications domains. The challenges you will face include support of LTE C++ developers with focus on SCM, controlling software development environment, enhancing Continuous Integration system.
You will be a Software Configuration Engineer working on a SW for LTE Base Station.
Responsibility area:
- working within LTE CPlane team with focus on Software Configuration Management,
- cooperation with central SCM team,
- monitoring and controlling the software development environment,
- coordination of creation and delivery of system component SW builds,
- increasing SCM efficiency,
- Continuous Integration system maintenance and enhancements,
- supporting the development and maintenance of software analysis tools,
- facilitates the cooperation between SW developers and I&V.
A perfect candidate should:
- have an knowledge of *NIX systems,
- (network) file systems,
- memory management,
- user management,
- load analysis,
- have a practical experience with build systems (designed for C++),
- have a good knowledge of python and bash scripting,
- have a practical experience with VCS tools (preferably to be a SVN expert),
- know how to search for root causes of failures and/or performance degradations,
- communicate openly and provide support for co-workers.
Each and every skill of the following ones is very welcome:
- knowledge of GNU Make,
- knowledge of hardware-specific configuration issues,
- knowledge of Continuous Integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo).
