SOC/SIEM Analyst
Recruitment process for this position and onboarding trainings are conducted online.
What do you need to start?
- Hands on knowledge of one of the SIEM products Should have experience in configuring and customizing the SIEM tool.
- Knowledge of network technologies, Windows and Unix administration Knowledge of typical security devices such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, AV and End Point security, Web Application Firewalls, anti-spam systems, event correlation systems, etc.
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities, threats, attack scenarios; analysis and intrusion detection skills Should have knowledge of a scripting language and UNIX command line.
- Knowledge of Incident Management process Ensure effective operation of SIEM content: filters, rules, expressions and other identification mechanisms of the threat and vulnerability management technologies used within the SOC
- Willingness to work on a shift basis
It's not essential, but we appreciate if you also have:
- Ability to create custom queries, event parsers Searching and Reporting capabilities with SIEM Tool and custom dashboard creation
What duties will help you grow?
- Integration and troubleshooting of log sources
- Mentor and guide the First Level Security Analysts
- Responsible for execution and maintenance of SOC related analytical processes and tasks
- Detailed technical security reporting to Management operating companies and appropriate stakeholders
- Work closely with other Information Security teams to ensure effective intrusion detection and incident response
- Reviewing reports to ensure quality and accuracy is a part of the job
