Position description
We are looking for a SharePoint 2013 Developer/Administrator who will join our Shared Service Center. In this position you will report to IT Manager of Collaboration Systems & Regional Applications (based in Gratkorn) and work in the area of development, maintenance and administration of Microsoft SharePoint for Sappi Europe. As a SharePoint 2013 Developer/Administrator you will work on the further development of SharePoint & Nintex applications and support the roll-out of software changes. You will be also involved in incident, change & release, patching & update management processes. You will ensure the availability of SharePoint applications to provide an undisturbed 24 hours availability.
Application development / modifications / maintenance:
- Take part in projects to develop and implement IT applications (SharePoint & Nintex), based on
- business requirements and Sappi’s strategic plans
- Develop and deploy packages/features as well as enhance and maintain existing source code
- Optimize and maintain application software, targeted at an optimal support of processes
- Support preparation, testing and implementation of new releases including SharePoint branding
- Integrate 3rd party tools (e.g. Codeplex solutions, ControlPoint, Metalogix)
- Patching/Cumulative Update installation and other regular maintenance using PowerShell scripts
Incident management / problem solving:
- Support of all SharePoint applications to ensure an optimal and undisturbed process flow
- Ensure optimal support of interfaces (Windows and SharePoint log file analysis) in collaboration with
- all involved departments
- Manage incidents and provide 2nd line user support
- You have an IT-related Bachelor or Master degree or relevant working experience
- You have at least 2 to 3 years experience in SharePoint development and experience in Nintex
- You have strong skills & knowledge in SharePoint administration (Central Admin & Windows Server
- administration including scripting)
- You are passionate about application development
- You are driven to be an expert in information technology and keep yourself up-to-date in this area
- You have fluent knowledge of English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- You are customer, service oriented and results-driven
- You are a team-player with a proactive personality and ‘can-do’ attitude
- You are flexible for business travel, especially at the beginning where training will be foreseen on site in Brussels and/or Gratkorn
