Service Management Analyst

Requirements:
- Familiarity with ServiceNow core application UI and workflow configuration, report development, integration components (e.g. LDAP, SSO, etc.)
- Understanding of client side and server side scripting - business rules, script actions, script includes, etc.
- Understanding of client and server APIs (ex. GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, etc.)
- Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and ServiceNow development approaches for CMS development (CSS, Jelly Scripting)
- Understanding of implementation methodologies/SDLC (ex. Agile Scrum, Waterfall) and ServiceNow development best practices
- Experience with ServiceNow platform and JavaScript experience
- ITSM/ITIL knowledge and expertise
- Experience with non-core applications (ex. Orchestration, Discovery, Performance Analytics, etc.) and integrations
- ServiceNow Certifications for System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist
- SQL programming
- KPIs / SLAs
- CMDB / Configuration Management
- Active Directory
- Basic security and privacy awareness
- Interest in financial products
Responsibilities:
- As a part of the Service Management Team the role will require a mix of IT skills as well as an understanding of IT operations and processes
- The focus of the role will be administering and developing Companys Service Management processes in ServiceNow and supporting on-going enhancements to both processes and the tool. In addition, the role will involve learning about the wider Company business
- Prior experience of ServiceNow or other Service Management toolsets is desirable but not essential as training and support will be given
- Candidates will need to be process and IT literate; ideally a degree in computer science or have experience and understanding of basic programming, interacting with databases, extracting, manipulating and reporting on data within a process centric environment. Exposure to ITIL based Service Management processes would be an advantage
- The role will require excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with many different areas of the business; from senior management to help desk staff. You will be expected to write documentation and provide training as your skills and experience develops
