Job description:
Ensure the general servicing, commissioning, de-commissioning and installation, troubleshooting and repairs of Diesel Generators and of Temperature Control Equipment according to the company standards.
Duties:
- Maintenance of Equipment including:
- Site installation
- Execute routine services of plant at depots and site
- Control of spares support in accordance to company ISO9002 procedures and maintain an adequate level of spares at location and in van
- Physical control of release and return of plant, including allocation of plant to meet contract requirements
- Attend breakdowns/ repairs at depot and on site
- Complete service reports, time sheets and test sheets.
- Ensure service vehicle service equipment and work area are maintained in safe and good order in compliance with QHSE
Requirements:
- Good basic secondary education, with Mathematics or an equivalent qualification.
- Education in Power (Electrician or equivalent) and Temperature Control
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as Service Engineer focussing on power and temperature control or equivalent experience
- Strong electrical bias with mechanical experience or vice versa.
- Good knowledge of high voltage applications desirable
- Good English and/or German language skills
- Full valid driving licence
- Forklift truck licence desirable
